The book, The Inner Life, appeared for sale December of that same year. The talks on "The Problem of the Day" featured in this volume have never before been published. Inayat Khan gave numerous talks, with many concerning art, poetry, and music. In a supplement at the end of the lectures, included are nine lectures from 1923.
