Sufi Order International: To realize and spread the knowledge of unity, the religion of love and wisdom, so that the bias of faith and beliefs may of itself fall away, the human heart may overflow with love and all hatred caused by distinctions and differences may be rooted out. To discover the light and power latent within all human beings, that is the secret of all religion, the power of mysticism, and the essence of philosophy, without interfering with customs or belief. To help to bring the worlds two opposite poles, East and West, closer together by the interchange of thought and ideals, that the Universal Kinship may form of itself, and human being may see with human being beyond the narrow national and racial boundaries.

The Abode of the Message is a Sufi community, retreat and conference center, cradled in the Taconic-Berkshire Mountains of Upstate New York, owned and operated by The Sufi Order International. Individuals and groups are welcome to discover the beauty and serenity, an easy three hour drive from New York City or Boston and just forty minutes from the Albany airport.

Suluk Academy was founded in 2002 by Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, the spiritual leader of the Sufi Order International. The Academy's guiding vision derives from the spiritual legacy of Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927), the mystical philosopher and musician who gave definitive modern expression to the timeless and universal wisdom of Sufism. Suluk Academy offers courses in its Core Curriculum of the esoteric teachings of Sufism, as well as Extended Studies courses for the general public which integrate ancient, classical, and contemporary modes of knowledge and practice.

Seven Pillars exists to support the advancement of wisdom in the global culture. By wisdom is meant knowledge that is rooted in the experience of the heart. This is knowledge that recognizes the universe as the living expression of a sacred unity. Seven Pillars is setting a table around which lovers of wisdom of all backgrounds are invited to come together to converse and collaborate. Our dialogues and initiatives will bring attention to the issues behind the issues in today’s headlines and galvanize momentum for interfaith solidarity, spiritual growth, ecological awareness, and beauty in action.
